Maria Ogedengbe
Ms. Ogedengbe is a North Carolina–based visual artist and educator whose work explores migration, identity, memory, and cross-cultural exchange. Drawing on research in Nigeria, she works across painting, printmaking, photography, textiles, installation, and social practice. She holds an MFA from Yale University. Her work has been exhibited internationally and supported by universities and arts organizations. Recent projects include our wife, Motherlode, Calabash Buoys, and Missouri GOURDen.
